OUR CENTER SERVICES BY DR. SELÇUK ÖKTEN, WHO IS CERTIFIED IN ACUPUNCTURE, OZONE AND MEDICAL AESTHETICS

We provide services in the field of Aesthetics and Beauty.

Selçuk Ökten, born in Tarsus in 1967, completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Tarsus and then graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. He worked as a swimming instructor and swimming referee during his university education. In 1993, he founded the Sevgi polyclinic with 4 doctor friends. He worked as an emergency physician at Mersin State Hospital and as a Coronary Intensive Care Physician for the last 12 years. He resigned due to the full-time law and continued his work full-time at MD CLINIC. He is married and has 2 children.

  • 1993: Attended the Sports Medicine course organized by the Turkish Medical Association and received the Sports Medicine Certificate.

  • 1998: Became a partner in a center offering permanent makeup, skin care, and slimming services, starting work in aesthetics and beauty together with his spouse.

  • 2002 (October 4–6): Participated in the 2nd National Acupuncture Congress chaired by Dr. Nuzhet Ziyal.

  • 2003: Began training in Medical Aesthetics, Mesotherapy, and Filler Applications, which had rapidly developed worldwide in recent years.

  • 2003 (October 4–5): Received a two-day training on Acupuncture in Lumbar and Cervical Disc Herniation from Dr. Jeffrey Dann, President of the Traditional Japanese Acupuncture Foundation.

  • 2003 (October 11–12): Attended training on Intradermal Needle Use in Acupuncture and Treatment of Diseases organized by the Istanbul Acupuncture Association, again taught by Dr. Jeffrey Dann.

  • 2003 (November 1–2): Attended the 4th Medical Hypnosis Course organized by Yeditepe University, covering basic knowledge and practical applications of hypnosis.

  • 2003 (November 15–16): Participated in the Applied Auricular Acupuncture Seminar organized by the Academic Acupuncture Association with Dr. Oskar Mastalier from Germany.

  • 2004 (April 24–25): Attended seminars on Applied Acupuncture Points by Dr. Jeffrey Dann, organized by the Istanbul Acupuncture Association.

  • 2004 (May 7–9): Attended the 1st National Medical Hypnosis Congress organized by Yeditepe University, including training on Treatment of Anxiety Disorders with Hypnosis by Dr. Tahir Özakkaş.

  • 2004 (June 5–6): Attended Applied Auricular Acupuncture II seminar organized by the Academic Acupuncture Association with Dr. Oskar Mastalier.
